Kaweco Al Sport Fountain Pen Medium
We highly recommend this Kaweco AL Sport Fountain Pen Medium nib: the quality is excellent, it's durable and it's a little bit of pen-design history. First produced way back in 1911, the Kaweco AL Sport is among the earliest fountain pen designs still in use today.
The pen is very compact when capped - at 10.5cm it slips easily into a pocket or purse. When the cap is removed and 'posted' on the end of the barrel it extends to 13.3cm: a comfortable length for writing.
The hand-polished barrel feels smooth and light. It has a screw cap and a stainless steel, iridium-tipped nib made by the Bock family of Heidelberg, Germany. These nibs are famous for their consistency.
The Kaweco AL Sport Fountain Pen's (medium nib) high-quality aluminium body gives the pen a finely-judged heft, and will age beautifully, developing a patina unique to each pen.
This pen takes standard international cartridge refills such as Kaweco or J. Herbin or you can use the Kaweco squeeze style converter.
