The 100-prong bamboo matcha whisk (or chasen) is a traditional tool for preparing matcha. 

Before first use, soak the whisk in hot water for 60 seconds to allow the prongs to unfurl. 

After each use, rinse thoroughly, air dry, and store in a cool, dry place.
